Who can join SIS-E?

Any individual interested in the aims of SIS-E may apply for membership. We accept applications for membership from individuals.

How can I apply for SIS-E membership?

You can apply for membership by clicking here and filling in your details. If you are unable to complete the form, please contact us.

What happens after I send my application form?

When we receive the application form, we will process your membership application as quickly as possible and then send you confirmation of your membership. If you would like to receive a membership certificate please contact us.

I am a new member of SIS-E, what should I do?
When we receive the application form, we will process your membership application as quickly as possible and then send you a receipt for your membership fee. At the Members Business Meeting that takes place during the Annual Congress you will be officially approved and welcomed into the Society by fellow members. If you would like to receive a membership certificate please contact us. If you would like to get involved in any of the SIS-E committees or would like assistance with surgical infections research/projects, please contact us.
How much does SIS-E membership cost?

Membership of SIS-E is €50.00 per year and runs from 1 April – 31 March. To become a member please click here

How can I pay for my SIS-E membership fee?

Membership can be paid via Mastercard, Visa or Bank Transfer during the application process.

How long does my SIS-E membership last?

Membership runs from 1 April until 31 March.

Can I cancel my SIS-E membership?

Yes, you can end your membership at any time; simply send your request to sis-e@conferencepartners.ie

Can I transfer my SIS-E membership to someone else?
Please send your request to sis-e@conferencepartners.ie.
Can I apply for institutional membership to SIS-E?

No, institutions and organisations cannot become members of SIS-E. Membership is individual and personal. If you would like your institution to be present at the Annual Congress please contact sis-e@conferenceparnters.ie

Does SIS-E have a trainee or student membership?

Membership is free for those who register and pay to attend the Annual Congress. 

Supporting trainees is an important mission of SIS-E and so we have offered a reduced congress registration fee.  For details on the Congress Registration fees please visit our website.
