Language
The official language of the Congress is English.

Summer officially begins in June in Athens and the weather reflects this. The average temperature this month is 24°C , while the average low is just 20°C, and the average high is a warm 28°C.

The Congress will take place during summertime hours and Athens is two hours ahead of GMT.

Thursday: 13:00 – 18:00
Friday: 07.30 – 18.00
Saturday: 08:00 – 18:00
Currency
The Greek currency is EURO (€). Most hotels and restaurants accept international credit cards.
Insurance
The Conference Organising Committee or its agents will not be responsible for any medical expenses, loss or accidents incurred during the Congress. Delegates are strongly advised to arrange their own personal insurance to cover medical and other expenses including accident or loss. Where a delegate has to cancel for medical reasons, the normal cancellation policy will apply. It is recommended that citizens from EU countries bring with them a current EHIC card.
Letter of Invitation
If you require a letter of invitation please contact the organiser at SIS-E@conferencepartners.ie. The Organizing Committee would like to clearly state that the letter is only to help the participant to obtain a visa or to raise travel funds and has no further financial obligations from the Congress towards the participant. The Congress Organizer is only able to send you the letter of invitation after receipt of the complete name and postal address of the applicant and the complete registration fee has been settled.
Passport and Visa
A valid passport is required for non-EU citizens for entry into Greece and the EU. An identity card is sufficient for citizens of EU Member States. Please consult the Greek Consulate nearest to you for specific details.
Exhibition
An exhibition of will be held during the Congress. Coffee breaks will take place in this area and all delegates are cordially invited to visit the exhibition. Companies interested in taking part in the exhibition can contact Deirdre Quinn SIS-E@conferencepartners.ie.
