Why attend?
After the mini course the participant will be able to take care of patients with acute and recurrent diverticulitis, colorectal anastomotic leakage and acute pancreatitis. The participant will also learn about the burden of surgical infections for patient and society.

Format
Engage in interactive topic focused sessions where participants will work in subgroups on 3 topics on evidence and case based problems, to establish appropriate steps in diagnosis and treatment, supported by a faculty member. The interactive sessions will be followed by discussions and questions with an expert panel where participants will have ample opportunity to share experiences and examples from their own working environment.

The interactive nature of the course means that you need to be able to understand and contribute actively to discussions in English.
